How to recognize fake?

Hi there,

As you know, Louis Vuitton is one of the most re-maked and copied brands of the world. Personally, I disgust fake and re-maked stuff.. My opinion is: if you do not have the money to buy the real thing, don't buy it, and get yourself some descent things which are not fake.
Furthermore, here are some tips to recognize fake Vuitton stuff (if you do not know it already ;) )

SO DO NOT BUY IT FROM SOMEBODY LIKE THIS
1. If you want to buy something new of this god-crafted brand, buy it at the good place.
Louis Vuitton things are only for sale by authorised retailer www.eluxury.com, and Vuitton stores itself (preferably the store at 101 Champs-Elysées ;D ) so if you want to buy, check whether the place is reliable to buy it..

2. There's also the ability to buy it second hand, at eBay for example, if you want to buy it at a place like that, check it whether the things you buy here are real or not with the following things, so you do not pay to much for what you get. A genuine piece of Louis Vuitton costs a lot, so if you want to buy it, check the official site of Vuitton for the price before you buy it. If it's less than the half of the original price, ask yourself the question if it's realistic to place something on the internet for that price..
(a monogram canvas piece costs approximately 375-2000 euro's)

model: does not even exist
 covered in plastic
FAKE..
3. Also check the Louis Vuitton official site before you buy your potential good, whether the item really exists, much fake retailers just make a design and put a LV logo on it..

4. Now the things about the outward.. The LV logo will ALWAYS be complete. If one side is off in a stitch, ore a zipper, it's definitely fake. A real LV does never have such a mistake as this. (note: de vintage trunks actually might have this on a corner stitching..)
note the stitching, and the lock

5. Zippers and stitching are always nice and straight. Monogram canvas: brown piece in canvas, side stitching (beige) areas in high quality leather, stitchin in yellow, and handles also in beige high quality leather, with a red side.

6. Your handles will be used, and you'll see that the leather is used. If it has the same colour (the handles) in 3 weeks after usage, it's probably not genuine..

7. Plastic. Bags are NEVER covered in platic, always in a dustbag with the initials, ore name, like this one:

Also the handles do not come with exeptional plastic covers..

And, price tags are NEVER attached to the good itself!

8. Louis Vuitton spends exceptional attention to craftsmanship, and finishing. Locks and studs will always be nice, and not just glued up. A LV lock will always have the LV initials on it.

LV goods are mostly handmade, with care and craftsmanship

well, these are probably the most recognizeable points.. ;)
Good luck, and use it wisely...

just a day in December..

December is THE most happiest month of the Year. Christmas, Sinterklaas (kind of dutch Christmas), New Year's Eve, etc..
And of course, the sale everywhere !

Today, I bought a pair of shoes, and Starbucks! I bought a Chai Tea Latte, and a White Caffè Mocha, always delicious..

They were just 20€ (approximately 27$), in the H&M Sale. Normally, I don't buy shoes for so many money, I want to have 'good' shoes, because my feet are not that good. But for 20€ I could not let them be there.. Shopaholic? A bit :P
These are the shoes I bought today

New Version
Nostalgic Version
Also, somebody gave me a tester for Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche pour Hommes, and gosh, that was heaven in a little glass tube.. Last Message, I wrote about Paco Rabbane One Million, but this is much better! (And also much more expensive.. about 72€ (about 96$) for the newest version of this nostalgic perfume)

Merry Christmas in advance everyone..

Paco Rabbane

I know, it's not as exclusive as I try to be,
but this cologne is so delicious..
It's Paco Rabbane, one million. Really populair in Holland and Italy.
Unfortunately, I lost it a couple of weeks ago. But my dad found it, packed it in, and gave it me for Sinterklaas (a kind of dutch Christmas/Santaclaus)

Anyway, if you are intrested, and you want to buy it, DO NOT buy it on eBay (or Marktplaats for  the Dutch readers ;) )
Mostly it is fake, and you pay the full price!

oh, and have you checked the new site of Vuitton yet? It's gorgeous!

Valentino VIRTUAL museum

Hi there,

The Italian fashion designer Valentino celebrates that his brand has its 45th birthday this year! For that, Valentino himself and Richard Meier created an exposition in an (online) museum, with over 350 pieces of the iconic Valentino collection througout the years. Take a look this here.. How great?!
This museum puts Rome at the center of worldwide glamour and fashion, once again!

What do you think of this great initiative?

The online museum has more then over five thousand pictures, videos and iconic pieces.. Dowload the FREE (!!) application to ´visit´ this wonderfull piece of iconography..

Valentino is such a talented couturier. It would be great if HE has a collaboration with H and M in stead of Versace or Marni!

By the way, I speak a bit of the beautiful Italian Language, but if you do not, there is an English version of the site available ;)

LV Cityguides

Hello,

Louis Vuitton is a fashion brand, based on their suitcases and legendary trunks like I wrote in one of my first posts. Your journey is not complete only with suitcases and luggage.. This is the part were the Louis Vuitton Cityguides come in, they extend the part were the suitcases stop.
In a cityguide you'll find nice clubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, and also great neighbourhoods to shop, and great fashion shops. (but, in the price category of Louis Vuitton)
I collect this wonderfull little books, they make a journey complete.
Also in these books famous people give their opion about a city, en where they hang out there (f.e. Monica Belluci's Rome)
They are available in 30 cities as Berlin, Kyoto, London, Mumbai, Paris, Rome, New York, Miami, etc.
You can buy these books seperately or as a box (f.e. European City's)
Those are some pieces of my collection:

(to know they aren't fake, the receipts are with it.. ;)

At every cover of a City Guide, there's such an inspirational sentence on it. For example:

“Early morning, it’s packed with a mix of financiers and style mavens, judging by the snatches of conversation over crockery.” - City Guide Paris

If you're not that rich that you can afford a Louis Vuitton suitcase, this will at least fit IN your luggage :)

Versace Hat

Today was finally the day:
my hat from the Versace For H&M collection arrived!
It is the blue hat from the collection. Earlier I said that I did not like the collection at all, but that there were a few pieces that I did like. Well, this hat is one of those pieces. The hat is 50% cashmere 50% wool, so it's very soft, really great..

I think I'm not going to wear this hat very much, only a few times..

Versace is not really my style, but come on, for this price! (35€ incl. shipping)

Addy van den Kromenacker's compliment :D

Totday, my bus was late, so went I the city of Den Bosch (wellknown as 's Hertogenbosch) It was not my intention to go shopping, but I had to wait an hour, so I did. I did not buy anything, but what happened was great.. You'll probably know Addy van den Kromenacker, He's a famous couturier from Den Bosch. Always when I'm there, I walk to his store, and look inside. Just the moment when I did this, he came outside! He said that I had a nice, provided style, and that the shoes I was wearing were absolutely gorgeous..! What a compliment, he is so famous around the intire world! He has shows in Paris, New York, Milano etc.. Too bad he only designs haute couture for women, and not for men, maybe you'll recognize him from this picture..

These were the shoes I was wearing:

Sorry If there are some mistakes On this post, but I' m about to leave, and typing really fast on my iPad, it will be the autocorrection ;)

ParisFriday!

I was in Paris this Friday !(and a bit of saturday ;))
It was great, I had such a great time, too bad it was just a day..
Bracelet :)
When we arrived in Paris, we arrived in front of the Moulin Rouge. We first went to Starbucks for a great 'Creme Brulee Latte', and there we decided that everyone (our group was 6) wanted to go straight to the Champs-Elysées, my favorite street in the world.

I first bought the French Vogue for men when I came out of the Metro. Then, we went to Abercrombie and Fitch, where I bought my sweater, and a bracelet.

At Louis Vuitton, Champs Elysees..
shirt: JC RAGS, blouse: Maison Scotch, belt: pull&bear (tiffosi)
pants: Tommy Hilfiger bracelet: Abercrombie & Fitch, glasses: Ray Ban

At Abercrombie, everything smells like their cologne: Fierce
I absolutely adore this cologne, and I definitely am going to buy it sometime.

OF COURSE we went to Champs-Elysees number 101.. Louis Vuitton's flagship store.

Then, we shopped a bit there, and after that we went to Le Marais, a Jewish neighborhood in Paris, with a lot of nice - and low budget- shops. A friend of mine Birgit, knows a lot about vintage shops, so we went to Coiffeur Vintage, were I found her a PIERRE BALMAIN scarf, for just 3€ (!). I liked this shop a lot, but there was nothing really nice for me, for men it was a bit cheapy-clochard style. For women, there was a lot of choice, and nice things!

After that, we walked through Ile Saint-Louis to the Quartier-Latin, were we have eaten something, and went to Starbucks for a second time.
And at last, we went to the Trocadero square, to watch the Eiffel tower in the dark, that was amazing, as usual..

Paris

The day after tomorrow, I'll be in Paris.
Paris is the most fashionable capital of the world, if you ask my opinion.
Paris is were big designer labers were born, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Dior, Chanel, Hermes, etc. All these brands have Parisian roots..
When I was 12, I was actually for the third ime in Paris. This time I fell in love with Paris, like a lot of people. I hope that I will live at Paris at some time.
I'll buy as much as possible, because I only have one day in Paris, I don't think it will be much.
The only thing which I'm sure about to buy is this Abercrombie sweater.  I like this brand (Abercrombie and Fitch) It's a bit preppy, and college style. But, pretty expensive (110 euro's for this hoodie). What I afurthernlike from this brand are the stores. The shops (in Europe) are massive, completely painted (Paris, Champs Elysees) or just a disco where you buy your clothes (Milano, Corso Matteotti).

Oh, and I got so inspired by this song:
Kiss-Forever.
It is not a rock-a-like song at all, just a nice and slow one.

zondag 30 oktober 2011

Hey,

I didn't post anything the last week, because internet was not doing great on my computer, and my laptop was broke [aaarggh]
But fashion never stands still, and a few nice things happened:)
I bought a watch :) (Fossil, first picture)
The intire collection of 'THE VERY BEST OF VERSACE FOR H&M' is online, but still unavailable..
This last thing was something I was definitely looking forwards to, but, I don't like it AT ALL. (For men I do not like it, the women collection is great)
I think it's a bit thinhorn.. All the prints and stuff, too busy for clothing.
The only piece I really liked was the blue hat.
Here's a (tiny) lookbook for those who didn't see it:

As you see, a lot of prints, leather, etc. Who am I to say it, but I think it is a bit gay..
The only piece i liked:

( 29.95)

But, I am going to PARIS this friday!! So I am going to spend my money there, at Abercrombie or something, this is totally not my style..

Oh, this was the watch I bought:
It is a bit vintage, with wooden elements and a washed leather band.

Leather and Amsterdam

Hey,

Yesterday I was at our capital: Amsterdam.
It was great, and I found these amazing shoes from the outdoor brand Helly Hansen.
Those are heavy, army-like, leather boots, amazing for this winter. Leather is hot right now. As a men you have to be sure that you have at least one piece of leather in your outfit. Doesn't matter what, it can be a belt, a pair of shoes, a bracelet, a (vuitton) bag, anything.. (no, not your wallet, you do not see that.. ^^)

What do you think of the leather trend this season?  I like it, as long as it is in your accesoires, I do not like leather pants or something, that's a bit too much for me..
 sorry, iPhone quality

Want, leer is helemaal in.

Colors fashion winter 2011/2012 men

Hey,

This winter (and fall) there are beautiful colors again. I'm gonna give you some advice, and examples of nice winter colors to wear this season.
First of all, I'll start with blue, I have a lot of blue clothes, I think it is a fresh and fashionable color..
Bright blue is hot this season, also cobalt blue, sky-blue, and indigo.
You can combine these awesome blue colors with black (great , but a bit armani) and jeans tones.. Or with this next color:
Orange is also good this fall, I don't like bright orange collors, more deep orange and rusty-orange colors.
This brings me to some kind of natural colors, black, forest green, orange, a bit of yellow. And deep earth tones.. (bordeaux, dark blue etc.)
But not only these natural colors look great, also bright and fluor colors are cool.
I am not a fan of fluor colored clothes, I think that they are a bit camping-chic. What I do like from this trend is some accents of fluor colors, like a shoesole or some accents in a bag or something :)
Colorblocking is also still hot..

Hey,

Accesoires for this fall/winter: SCARF!, a big, knitwear-like scarf, masculine. leather is hot, so be sure you have leather shoes, a big masculine belt,
Some examples/inspirational stuff, option: some leather bracelets. A padded coat/jacket is hot.

Some examples/inspirational stuff:

woensdag 12 oktober 2011

Hi,
If you don't understand the title of my blog, LVblogmax, you do not understand me haha..
LV is derived from the initials of Louis Vuitton (actually Louis Vuitton Malletier).
For those who do not know the brand of Louis Vuitton (suckers) i will explain what kind of brand it is, and  why I adore the brand so mutch..
Louis Vuitton Malletier is a French luxury goods label, that sells items to make your journey to a complete party. It became worldwide famous with the flat trunks (vintage, very expensive now..) The art of traveling is Louis Vuittons statement.. Now, Louis Vuitton has grown up as the leader of the world when we talk about luxury traveling goods. But now they are not only selling traveling accesoires, but also clothes, books, haute-couture clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc.
I like traveling and fashion, this brand combines them both, and how.. 1.2.3. obsession born :)
You probably know the brand from it's famous monagram (brown, with goldyellow LV and flower painting)

The legendarical trunks from the French fashion house. These are vintage, original ones, unfortunately not mines. If you want one, original, like this, you must pay on average between 3 and 6 thousand dollars..

The well-known Louis Vuitton monogram canvas. Now there is this one also in black and white with colored initials and flowers, and with cherrys. Further the fashionhouse has a print called damier (little squares) in brown (ebene), white (azur) and gray/black (graphite; BACKGROUND BLOG)

intro

Hello,
My name is not available for everyone who reads this, I want to stay anonymus, but if you really know me, you probably know who I am if you read the title of my blog.
This blog is for every young, fashionable boy, who does like to be informed about the latest fashion for boys, but does not wants to be seen as a ´gay´ or ´girly' person. This blog is the very first weeks just a try out, and if I get much attention, and if I like it to continue, i'll go ahead with bloggin' :)
First of all, I want to tell something about myself, so you'll get to know me a bit.
I am a dutch teenage boy, at the age of sixteen years (so i will probably make some mistakes bloggin' in English) For the dutch readers, I'll make up a dutch translation under the English blog. Fashion is not something what you like because your friends like it, it is something you have to feel, but, you can learn it how to feel :)
Thing I like are fashion (ofcourse), Starbucks Coffee, Apple stuff, music (most of all from the early sixties till now) and beauty. Beauty sounds very weird for a boy, but you must not think I like cremes, and something for my pimples and stuff, but just looking great and provided..
If you read this and you think, bleh, gayboy who loves scarfes and shit. Then I think your not on the right URL, go ahead to a porn site and then jerk off on some lesbian sex or something, and do not follow me... I am not gay, but just a provided teenage boy ok?
On average i'll blog several times a week, but not to much, like an blog-aholic.

Hey,
