How to recognize fake?

Hi there,

As you know, Louis Vuitton is one of the most re-maked and copied brands of the world. Personally, I disgust fake and re-maked stuff.. My opinion is: if you do not have the money to buy the real thing, don't buy it, and get yourself some descent things which are not fake.
Furthermore, here are some tips to recognize fake Vuitton stuff (if you do not know it already ;) )

SO DO NOT BUY IT FROM SOMEBODY LIKE THIS
1. If you want to buy something new of this god-crafted brand, buy it at the good place.
Louis Vuitton things are only for sale by authorised retailer www.eluxury.com, and Vuitton stores itself (preferably the store at 101 Champs-Elysées ;D ) so if you want to buy, check whether the place is reliable to buy it..

2. There's also the ability to buy it second hand, at eBay for example, if you want to buy it at a place like that, check it whether the things you buy here are real or not with the following things, so you do not pay to much for what you get. A genuine piece of Louis Vuitton costs a lot, so if you want to buy it, check the official site of Vuitton for the price before you buy it. If it's less than the half of the original price, ask yourself the question if it's realistic to place something on the internet for that price..
(a monogram canvas piece costs approximately 375-2000 euro's)

model: does not even exist
 covered in plastic
FAKE..
3. Also check the Louis Vuitton official site before you buy your potential good, whether the item really exists, much fake retailers just make a design and put a LV logo on it..

4. Now the things about the outward.. The LV logo will ALWAYS be complete. If one side is off in a stitch, ore a zipper, it's definitely fake. A real LV does never have such a mistake as this. (note: de vintage trunks actually might have this on a corner stitching..)
note the stitching, and the lock

5. Zippers and stitching are always nice and straight. Monogram canvas: brown piece in canvas, side stitching (beige) areas in high quality leather, stitchin in yellow, and handles also in beige high quality leather, with a red side.

6. Your handles will be used, and you'll see that the leather is used. If it has the same colour (the handles) in 3 weeks after usage, it's probably not genuine..

7. Plastic. Bags are NEVER covered in platic, always in a dustbag with the initials, ore name, like this one:

Also the handles do not come with exeptional plastic covers..

And, price tags are NEVER attached to the good itself!

8. Louis Vuitton spends exceptional attention to craftsmanship, and finishing. Locks and studs will always be nice, and not just glued up. A LV lock will always have the LV initials on it.

LV goods are mostly handmade, with care and craftsmanship

well, these are probably the most recognizeable points.. ;)
Good luck, and use it wisely...

zondag 11 december 2011

just a day in December..

December is THE most happiest month of the Year. Christmas, Sinterklaas (kind of dutch Christmas), New Year's Eve, etc..
And of course, the sale everywhere !

Today, I bought a pair of shoes, and Starbucks! I bought a Chai Tea Latte, and a White Caffè Mocha, always delicious..

They were just 20€ (approximately 27$), in the H&M Sale. Normally, I don't buy shoes for so many money, I want to have 'good' shoes, because my feet are not that good. But for 20€ I could not let them be there.. Shopaholic? A bit :P
These are the shoes I bought today

New Version
Nostalgic Version
Also, somebody gave me a tester for Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche pour Hommes, and gosh, that was heaven in a little glass tube.. Last Message, I wrote about Paco Rabbane One Million, but this is much better! (And also much more expensive.. about 72€ (about 96$) for the newest version of this nostalgic perfume)

Merry Christmas in advance everyone..

Paco Rabbane

I know, it's not as exclusive as I try to be,
but this cologne is so delicious..
It's Paco Rabbane, one million. Really populair in Holland and Italy.
Unfortunately, I lost it a couple of weeks ago. But my dad found it, packed it in, and gave it me for Sinterklaas (a kind of dutch Christmas/Santaclaus)

Anyway, if you are intrested, and you want to buy it, DO NOT buy it on eBay (or Marktplaats for  the Dutch readers ;) )
Mostly it is fake, and you pay the full price!

oh, and have you checked the new site of Vuitton yet? It's gorgeous!

Valentino VIRTUAL museum

Hi there,

The Italian fashion designer Valentino celebrates that his brand has its 45th birthday this year! For that, Valentino himself and Richard Meier created an exposition in an (online) museum, with over 350 pieces of the iconic Valentino collection througout the years. Take a look this here.. How great?!
This museum puts Rome at the center of worldwide glamour and fashion, once again!

What do you think of this great initiative?

The online museum has more then over five thousand pictures, videos and iconic pieces.. Dowload the FREE (!!) application to ´visit´ this wonderfull piece of iconography..

Valentino is such a talented couturier. It would be great if HE has a collaboration with H and M in stead of Versace or Marni!

By the way, I speak a bit of the beautiful Italian Language, but if you do not, there is an English version of the site available ;)
